| This is an advanced unit on the available processes for finding commercially useful information within large data sets. This unit will expose students to advanced tools in data and text mining together with a consideration of issues in strategic data management, data privacy and the ethical use of data. The unit aims to teach students the process, models, and tools for data analysis and analytics. In addition, the unit will equip students with the practical skills required to employ software packages within analytical frameworks and tackle business data analysis problems for business management and decision making. | |
