It applies a range of theoretical and practical frameworks and methods to the strategic direction of the firm and its responses to changes in both internal and external conditions. The rationale for the unit is its integration with other business disciplines that it applies in aiding a strategic decision. The unit provides learners with a grounding in strategic analysis and decision-making that supports the prudent management of a firm’s activities.
