 Unit Overview:
This capstone unit is designed to expose students to practical business issues and problems commonly requiring an interdisciplinary perspective for their resolution. Examples include responses to technological or environmental changes, the entry of a new competitor, a major product launch or international expansion. In the final week of term, teams will deliver their findings and recommendations through an oral presentation and a written report. Hence, this unit will enable students to apply practical skills, teamwork and communication tools to a “real world” business problem or issue and will thus contribute to developing and enhancing students’ job readiness.
