Student voices play a vital role in shaping the student experience and driving positive change within the Institute. Becoming a Student Representative is an opportunity to contribute to key decisions, advocate for student needs, and ensure that student perspectives are heard at the highest levels.

Student Representative Roles

Student Representatives bridge the gap between students and the Institute. They serve in key roles, including:
  • The Academic Board – Contributing to academic policies, curriculum improvements, and educational standards.
  • The Student Grievance Committee (SGC) – Ensuring student concerns are addressed fairly and effectively.

Commitment & Responsibilities

  • Attend regular committee meetings to discuss student-related matters.
  • Advocate for student needs and propose initiatives to enhance student experiences.
  • Act as a liaison between students and the Institute.
  • Each appointment lasts a minimum of seven months (two terms).
